💳 Setting up your Social Insurance/GOSI

Linking your Saudi job to Bahrain's Social Insurance has it's own complications, as KSA has its own internal GOSI system as well. The steps are as follows:

• Your employer will link your contract to Saudi's official Insurance system (confirm you are registered here) 

• Once that is complete, your HR will raise a request to have it linked to Bahrain insurance

• In some cases the system takes time or there are cross-border delays, you should try to personally follow up with Bahrain's social insurance directly. The contact details are as follows (although a visit to the SIO office in Bahrain can also help expedite the process)

💡 Your GOSI setup may sometimes take a considerable amount of time - if your employer is making sure to deduct your contribution, it will be retroactively applied once the process is complete so you don't miss any employment time added to your account.

💡 If your employer is not deducting your contribution monthly, do note they may have to deduct it in bulk later on to account for the full period of your GOSI
