📝 Rental Contracts & Payments

• Residential rentals in Saudi Arabia are processed through Ejar - the official government rental platform

• Once you agree with the landlord, they create the contract on Ejar, and you receive a notification on your registered mobile

• You can then review and accept the contract electronically

• Make your rental payment via your bank app (see below) and receive the keys!

💳 Payment Options

Rent is commonly paid:

• Annually (1 payment per year)

• Semi-annually (2 payments) 

Since a bulk payment is large, some employers offer the option to pay rent on your behalf and deduct it monthly from your salary package

📱 Payment Process

• Use your bank app, and go to the payment/my bills option

• Search for Ejar (or type code 153) 

• Enter your rental contract number

• You will see the due amount and can pay directly from your account

💸  Additional Costs

You may also be asked to pay:

• Refundable Security deposit

• Broker Commission

• Utility deposits to setup Electricity/Water

💡 Important

• Rental payments should only be done via the Bills section in your Banking App, using your contract number (do not transfer to personal accounts or pay in cash)

• Agent commissions may be paid directly, but always verify the identity and legitimacy of the agent before transferring any money
